Rovers young speedster Junior Hoilett is ready to commit his potential international future to Canada.

Hoilett qualifies to play national football for his birth country Canada (obviously) but also for Jamaica and England through residency and seems to have taken his time to choose (remind you of a certain contract anyone?).

His dad and agent David Hoilett senior, is quoted in the Lancashire Telegraph as saying – “We are happy with the direction in which the national programme in Canada is heading at the moment.

“Some of the concerns that we had, and had expressed in the pass are being addressed, such as an increase in the quaility and quantity of exhibition games that are played and the style of play.

“Junior has not 100 per cent decided as yet, but would consider attending a training camp in the near future to get an inside perspective of the programme both present and future.”

Hoilett’s dad – the most cautious person ever?
