Hoilett’s new contract making progress

Rovers have made a full formal contract offer to Junior Hoilett in an attempt to get the speed king tied down to a new, long term deal.

Negotiations seemed to have started roughly around the last ice age but despite the very, very slow going both parties are keen to see Hoilett remain at Rovers for the long term.

Kean even went as far as to fly to Canada to speak with Hoilett’s Dad who is also the young man’s agent.

Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph – “I had a great talk with his mum and dad in Toronto.

‘He has since received an offer of a very good healthy contract and the signs are that is progressing well.”
