Blackburn boss Mark Hughes is expecting nothing than another determined Chelsea performance tonight as his Blackburn side look for the victory that will garuntee them a UEFA Cup spot.

‘I don’t go with the view that they will come here with their foot of the gas. It doesn’t work like that, the quality of champions usually comes to the fore once they step over that white line for a match.’ Hughes told the official website.

Hughes is also expecting a repeat of the Rovers performance at Stamford Bridge when they challenged Chelsea all the way to the final whistle.

‘We did very well against them at Stamford bridge earlier this season. We slipped up early on and conceeded a couple of goals and at that point you think it going to be a real hard day at the office, but credit to us we came back, got on level terms only for a great strike from Frank Lampard when we were very much in the game.’
