Hughes Praise for Roberts

After a brace in Blackburn Rovers’ 4-1 victory over Charlton Athletic at Ewood Park on Saturday, Rovers Mark Hughes has again dished out praise to Jason Roberts.

Hughes said:

“Jason looks in great nick at the moment. It took a little bit longer than I thought for him to get back to a high level.

“He was out for three or four months and we missed seeing that explosive part of his game.

“But now you can see it – he has power, he has pace. He is very difficult to shake off the ball.”

I think that Roberts is beginning to MORE than repay the faith Hughes showed in him when signing him last summer, next season will be even better.
