Hughes: Two Points Dropped

Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes has basically said that the 1-1 draw with Fulham represented two points dropped, which is was!!!

After a below par first half Rovers eventually took the lead through Morten Gamst Pedersen’s header in the second half, and had further chances to put the match beyond Fulham but Jimmy Bullard’s late equaliser with a free-kick meant that what should have been three points, ended up with us just getting one.

Hughes told BBC Sport: “We had chances but were a little bit flat in the first half, we had no real tempo.

“But the second half was more open. We got the goal and other chances.

“Maybe at times we should have been more professional, we were 1-0 up with 10-15 minutes to go and we should have been able to close the game out
.”

This was DEFINITELY two points dropped, and points that MIGHT make a difference at the end of the season?!?!
