Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jason Brown has returned to Ewood Park, it’ll be interesting to see how he is received by his team-mates and the coaching staff.
Brown was quite outspoken (too outspoken for my liking!!) during his loan spell with Leeds United and I’d said that I personally felt that he might end up ruing his comments as what he had to remember (but seemed to be forgetting) was the fact that he was still contracted to Rovers and his time at Elland Road was always likely to be nothing more than a temporary measure as when Kasper Schmeichel and Shane Higgs returned from injuries he’d be surplus to requirements with Leeds, and so it’s proved for Browny!!
The Welsh International now has to returned to Ewood and will remain with us until the end of the season when his contract expires, unless someone else comes in for him in the meantime?? If not then I’d think that he might get a slightly frosty reception from the coaching staff and I’d not expect (not that I think he would’ve anyway) to be given much of a chance. However, Paul Robinson is beyond a doubt the number one at Ewood anyway and any availability issues would be resolved with Frank Fielding being recalled from his loan with Derby County I’d think.
