Despite a crushing 3-0 defeat at Wigan Athletic on Saturday (a defeat that adds to the pressure on Paul Ince) the Blackburn Rovers manager has vowed to fight on.

A sixth successive defeat in what was a near must win match for Rovers leaves Ince in deep trouble, with his job very much on the line not to mention our own Premier League future!!! Incey will carry on fighting though.

Ince told the BBC: “There is no point feeling sorry for yourself, there is no point in the players feeling sorry for themselves, they have just got to keep believing.

“It is easier said than done when you are not winning games and you perform like we did in the first 45 minutes, which was very disappointing.

“We felt we could not only get something out of the game but win it. Everyone was buzzing in the changing room and then with 12 minutes gone we are 2-0 down and the game was gone. What can you do?

“It is no good improving in the second half. It doesn’t do anything.

“I’m very disappointed with the players. We are hurting at this moment in time
.”

However, Incey did back the travelling fans and says that he understands their frustrations.

He added: “We let our fans down. Obviously they are going to voice their frustration as anyone would – and rightly so because we let them down today. They are going to voice their opinion.

I think that fat lady has well and truly warmed up her voice and the singing will start sometime this week, if Incey makes it through until our next match then that is ALL he will get!!!
