Paul Ince has put some feelers out about returning to management and is looking for more financial backing than he received during his ill-fated spell at Rovers.

The Rovers failure, who has been out of a job since being sacked at Rovers management, wants to take advantage of the current managerial merry go round.

Ince arrived at Blackburn as a highly promising manager with potential but no experience at the top level. But it was a step too far too soon as Rovers were nailed on for relegation under his stewardship.

However, rathering amazingly, he believes lack of funds hindered his ability to shine at Blackburn and in the future only wants to join a club where he will be given the backing to succeed.

Ince, speaking to Sky Sports said – ‘I hope there’s a good job on the horizon,’

‘I want to go to a team where I can have the finances to build – I didn’t have that at Blackburn.’

Now I do want Paul to succeed at whatever he does in the future but lets be straight here. It wasn’t the lack of money that cost Ince his job, it was his training methods, his lack of nous in the transfer market and his man management.

He can’t blame the lack of funds as Allardyce and Hughes have both been able to make the most of wht they have at Rovers and there is one reason why the passed the test where Ince failed…

Because they are good managers.
