Jensen clueless over exit

Axed Rovers assistant manager John Jensen has spoken out against his very abrupt Rovers exit.

Jensen was released from his position as Steve Kean’s assistant over a month ago without any real public warning and mystery has surrounded his departure ever since.

But for those who like their gossip and information they may feel a bit short changed by the former Arsenal and Denmark midfielder here… as even he hasn’t been told the full reason for his unemployment.

Jensen told the Lancashire Telegraph – “You expect to get an explanation but there has been no explanation from the club. One day we might get to know the truth.

“The firing was a shock for me. I still don`t know why I was fired but the main reason must be the results. When you don`t get good results it`s a risk that you`ll get sacked.

“I am free of Blackburn.

“We have made an agreement that means that I can do whatever I feel like.

“It took some time, yes, but we ended up with an agreement. I can`t tell you any details.”

People being fired for poor performance at Rovers? Does that still happen?
