Jermaine probably heading back to Germany

Rovers are set to lose out on a permanent move for on loan American midfielder Jermaine Jones as Schalke are reporting that they want him back.

Jones has been hard working, hard tackling but fairly non-descript and a bit reckless at times since his arrival but boss Steve Kean is, er, keen to keep hold of a player he has used regularly in the last few months.

Various media reports, including Sky Sports are reporting – ‘If Blackburn were to beat the drop it had been widely reported that Rovers would try and make Jones’ current deal a permanent one come the summer.

However, Schalke have now thrown a spanner in the works, with reports indicating they are eager to bring the 29-year-old back to Germany for next season.’

Personally I wouldn’t get too worked up over this as he has not been THAT great.
