Kalinic chase is hotting up

Niko Kalinic is heading, very firmly, towards the exit door at Ewood Park.

In what seems more of a when and not if scenario, Kalinic has got a choice of clubs if the morning papers are to be believed with 3 clubs keen on him.

With Kalinic lower than VBer Friedel No.1 in the Rovers striking pecking order it seems that the Croatian’s time at Rovers is limited and the main concern from Steve Kean’s point of view is how much money the club can get for the Slaven Bilic endorsed hitman.

The Daily Mail is reporting – ‘Rovers want to recoup the £6million they paid Hajduk Split for the Croatia international with Dinamo Kiev leading the chase whilst Dnipro Dnepropetrovsk (WHAT. A. NAME) and Metalist Kharkiv are also keen.’

I see this personally as a massive shame. He may well have an attitude problem but then name me a footballer that doesn’t.

I am sure if we can get the right money for him then he’ll be off but I still don’t see how he is any worse than Benjani.
