Rovers manager Steve Kean has let the Blackburn fans know that he would be willing to meet with them – if it helped the situation currently engulfing the club.

Communication between club and fans has been a major sticking point at Ewood Park over the last year with fans raising concerns that the relationship between the owners and the fanbase is non-existant.

But the under fire Rovers boss has conceded that he would be happy to meet with fans if he was told by his superiors that it would be a good thing.

The Rovers boss told the Daily Mail – “I care about what the fans think. If it`s worthwhile and about the football side of things then yes, I`m willing to meet them.

“I don`t know if it will help. I`ll take direction from the directors and if they think it`s the right thing to do then I`m available.”

We have heard this promise from the manager before I must stress and it didn’t come to fruition then… So the now famous ‘I’ll believe it when I see it’ phrase we are hearing a lot of nowadays comes into play here.

You’ve talked the talk Kean let’s see you walk the walk.
