Rovers this afternoon beat fierce local rivals 1-0 in a loud, passionate derby with a first half penalty from David Dunn.

For all the stick that Big Sam gets, one thing is for sure – HE GOT TODAY ABSOLUTELY BANG ON.

Rovers were resolute, strong and ultimately too powerful for the Clarets.

To make matters worse for Burnley, they have to stomach that their least liked player grabbed the only goal of the game and sends them closer to the trapdoor.
