Last Hurrah, Rovers to finish of in style!!!!

You could be forgiven for thinking both sides would be playing through the motions in the last game of another long season. Rovers, who have set such a high bench mark over the past few years, will finish in the lower half of the table, whilst West Brom, buried at the basement, are already looking at reshaping the squad for their fight next season.

However, both teams will be out to play, for different reasons. West Brom, have pride to play for. With a late surge, a result or two could of kept them in with a shot at safety, however, it wasnt to be. West Brom though, will still send out a full strength outfit, with a small possibility that they can climb out of the basement.

Rovers, have it all to play for. Firstly, they owe it to the fans. After a miserable start to the season, Sam Allardyce took over, and has turned our fortunes around. Sure, we havent played the football we would love to see, but guess what, we are safe, and will be in the Premier League next season, if you told me that at Christmas, I would of bit your arm of.

Secondly, they owe it to them selves. We have plenty of talent on the books, and a final day loss to West Brom would end the season on a sour note, not what the players want, as some of them are playing for new contracts. Close the season of well, and you might just convince Sam your worth keeping, have a shocker, and out you go….

And finally, they owe it to the Maestro, Rovers Legend, Rovers Hero, a man they will be talking about for years to come, Tugay. The Turkish superstar has called Blackburn home for the last 8 years, and what a joy it has been. He deserves to go out with a win, he deserves to have a shot at every free kick we get, and if the chance occurs, he deserves to take the penalty kick.

So I ask on you all, get out there, take advantage of whatever fantastic offer the club has provided, and back the boys home, bring the final 3 points, and send the legend away with a smile on his face. Clap him of when he departs with 5 minutes to go, and make sure I here it all the way down under.
