Jason Lowe was perhaps a little too eager to return to the Blackburn Rovers first-team after his first injury, we’re just hoping that his latest setback isn’t too serious.

Lowe’s foot injury has seen him miss large periods of this season, I can’t remember who it was he returned against from the first spell out but I do recall him being forced when he went off early in the second half (however, I seem to recall he still got the Man of the Match from the VBers) and injury also meant he went off against Rotherham United on Tuesday evening.

This is a recurrence of his pre-existing injury, however, the hope for him, Gary Bowyer and us is that this isn’t too serious and he’ll not be out for too long as he’s such an influential and important player for Rovers. Bowyer’s hoping that his “quick thinking” by asking to come off when he felt it right away has saved serious injury??

He’ll (whatever scans show) miss the FA Cup tie with Stoke City won’t he I’d expect.
