Blackburn captain Jason Lowe is being linked with a potential Premier League move to Hull or West Brom.
Promotion chasing Brighton have also been credited with an interest according to the Daily Mail.
It’s claimed this trio are ‘among clubs showing an interest’ in Lowe so Blackburn face a possible battle to hold onto another – would be – out of contract player this summer? The suggestion would be this interest is being shown with a possible January switch in mind owing to contract uncertainty.
Having battled back from a series of injuries over the past year or so Lowe has been an ever present for Owen Coyle – aside from suspension with him serving more than once as he’s collected 11 yellow cards – and he wouldn’t want to lose the former England U21 international.
But the report said the 25 year old was ready to leave Ewood Park on a free in the summer, which could force Blackburn’s hand this month with Lowe’s versatility – to play in defence or midfielder – appealing to the clubs of interest.
