Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede has moved a step closer to the Ewood Park exit door, as well as showing a side of him that all too many footballers have.

Stupidly (I really don’t understand how I could’ve done so!!) I dared to believe that loyalty still existed in the modern era of football, it doesn’t really and if it does it’s very, very limited with Gestede seemingly one that doesn’t have any of this at all!!

A “mind not in the right place” is a pitiful excuse and Rudy should be ashamed of himself for pulling out of our match with Wigan Athletic citing this!!

Players come and go this is all part of football with it best not to get “too attached” nowadays but it’s always better and easier when these come and go in the right way even more so when we’ve given then the chance when no one else would but the way that Rudy looks to be seeking to push through his Ewood exit is disgraceful and we (as a club and supporters) deserved much more from the Benin International, I’d expected more as well.

He’s not alone but these overpaid babies need to stop being able to spit their dummies when they can’t get their own way (he’s not got his Premier League move yet), just imagine what reaction we’d get if we went into work saying “my head isn’t in the right place” to do a job (too many of us aren’t even paid extremely well) to do!!
