Massive shock as Vince ruled out for the season

Rovers midfielder Vince Grella has been ruled out of the remainder of the 2010/11 Premier League season with injury.

Vince, who is now Australia’s version of Jamie Redknapp and Darren Anderton combined has been injured on and off ever since he rocked up to England in 2008.

But Kean confirmed the worst this afternoon.

Blackburn boss Steve Kean told the BBC – ‘It’s been hard for Vinny because he’s picked up niggly injuries and this has been quite a big operation on his Achilles.’
