The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Aston Villa this Saturday.

Blackburn Rovers travel to Aston Villa on Saturday November 5 for the game at Villa Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Roger East
Linesmen: Darren Cann and Derek Eaton
Fourth Official: Geoff Eltringham

Match Day referee East has taken in eight games so far in 2016/17 with a return of 32 yellow cards and two red cards.

His highest card count this season was eight yellow cards in the Oxford v Millwall match.

He took charge of 39 matches last season and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 119 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brighton and Sheffield Wednesday in May with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
