The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Leeds United this Tuesday.
Blackburn Rovers travel to Leeds United on Tuesday September 20 for the League Cup third round tie at Elland Road and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.
Referee: Darren Deadman
Linesmen: Christopher Ward and Danny Gratton
Fourth Official: David Webb
Match Day referee Deadman has officiated five games in 2016/17 with a return of 17 yellow cards and zero red cards.
His highest card count so far this season was seven yellows in the game between Luton and Grimsby.
He took charge of 36 matches in 2015/16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 101 yellow cards and three red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Cardiff City and Leeds United on March 8 with a total of six yellows shown and one red.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
