The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Queens Park Rangers this midweek.

Blackburn Rovers host Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday January 12 for the game at Ewood Park and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Eddie Ilderton
Linesmen: Graeme Fyvie and Christopher Akers
Fourth Official: Darren Bond

Match Day referee Ilderton (Tyne and Wear) is yet to officiate a Blackburn game this season.

He has however already taken in sixteen other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 38 yellow cards and one red card.

He was most card happy in the match between Notts County and York City on September 26 with a total of six yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
