McDonald Appointed Assistant Manager

Neil McDonald has been appointed as the new assistant manager of Blackburn Rovers to work under Sam Allardyce.

Neil was the head coach at Leeds United but is best known for being a key member of Big Sam’s back room team at Bolton. Particularly from a fitness point of view.

In response to this, Archie Knox and Ray Mathias have been relieved of their duties with immediate effect.

Whilst they have left a sour taste in many fans mouths, I am sure all Rovers fans would like to thank Archie and Ray for their efforts.

Karl Robinson will remain on the coaching staff.
