MGP pleased with his current performances

Morten Gamst Pedersen is happy with how his current form is panning out after a confidence crisis had curtailed his showings in recent times.

Morten has been deployed in a more central role in a midfield three and that has helped him back to his previous level of performance that used to get the fans in a flap.

Pedersen speaking the Lancashire Telegraph said – “I think my form is good at the moment and I`m doing well. I started in the middle against Liverpool and for the last bit of the game I was on the wing again.

“I`m just happy to play where they want me to play. It`s good when you feel good. I have played in the middle before, a little bit there before for the national team.

“I have played mainly on the wing for Blackburn but you just have to handle the things that get thrown at you.

‘They want me to play there and we did well, and I can still go forward there.

“I hope I can keep my form going.”

Good to see he is happy but no comment so far on his new deal or lack there of?
