With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2008-2009 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2008-2009 continue to be dished out with the MONTH OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: May 2009.

When asked to simply leave the Month, which you felt saw Rovers have their Month of the Season most felt May should be the Award Winner. Congratulations (however, I’m not sure how much we are including this) must go to Manchester City, Portsmouth, Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion for helping make this the month to remember!!! However, seeing survival achieved is why most remember May, and ONLY Portsmouth were beaten in May anyway.

This is what people had to say on this category, which can also be viewed by click here.

Blue n Whitey said: “I don’t think there was a best month was there? Sooo patchy! If there was one I think I would have to go for second half of December/January, we went about 9/10 games unbeaten… so I’m gonna go for that!

FreidelNo.1 said: “May – a time to celebrate and look forward to next season!

Blue_Canoe said: “June, when the whole sorry episode was finally over. Can only hope next year is better.
