This isn’t on the management or coaching side of things at Blackburn, this is regarding the possible January exit of a Rovers player in January?

Well, all of this works on the assumption the Daily Mail is correct! Not something you can often say about the Mail is it!

Ben Marshall was tipped to make an exit from Blackburn in the summer but this didn’t happen, despite confirmed interest and bids of a ‘below average’ amount but the New Year could bring new bids and a further Rovers battle for the new boss to keep hold of the midfielder?

Interest from Brighton was shown in the summer with the former Man United youngster apparently attracting attention from Premier League and Championship clubs, which could lead to his departure with his contract only running until 2017 and, again apparently, him not looking to extend this….

Should the 24-year-old have no interest in signing an extended deal at Ewood Park it’s been said Blackburn ‘may decide to cash in’ on him with him potentially becoming the ‘one player’ Rovers need to sell to have the transfer embargo lifted?
