More Bull From Ferguson

Ex-Rovers and current Birmingham midfielder Barry Ferguson has gone out on a limb to say he has nothing to prove tonight when his new club play his old club.

Barry shed some light on his thoughts before the big match at St.Andrews.

Our friend Barry, speaking to Sky Sports said – ‘It is just another game. I had two years at Blackburn and enjoyed myself there – but now I am enjoying myself at Birmingham.

‘The last six months of my time up the road (at Rangers) was not the most enjoyable but I am back to enjoying football and playing every game.

‘I had a knee-cap injury at Blackburn. A lot of people said I didn’t enjoy my time there. That was not the case.

‘I have not got a point to prove. I started off well but then I got the bad injury. I came back from it and I played a lot of games for Blackburn. I did well. I was captain there.

‘But it was a case of ‘when your old club comes calling’ so I kind of left under a bit of a cloud. I went back to Rangers and won more championships and cups and got to a UEFA Cup final.’

Now the problem here is that Barry seems to have forgotten the nonsense he spouted as reason for leaving Rovers. A classic sign of someone who was lying at the time.

He said he was leaving as he didn’t enjoy the ‘derby’ match between Bolton and Blackburn (which isnt actually the main derby match anyway) and he felt he was undervalued at Rovers.

Basically he is a big headed moron that thought he was too good.
