Josh Morris had (to all intent and purpose) left Blackburn Rovers a couple of years ago having been on loan with Fleetwood Town. Scunthorpe United wanted him but Bradford City will sign him??

Morris has had loans with Fleetwood for the past eighteen-months and a permanent move to The Highbury Stadium might have been expected but it’s League 1 rivals Scunthorpe and Bradford that are battling it our for the midfielder with speculation from the Bradford area being that he’s going to Valley Parade.

The twenty-three-year-old is one of several that Gary Bowyer would want to move on (some he wouldn’t!!) others are Jake Kean and Leon Best with The Lancashire Telegraph speculating we’ve got a chance of getting rid of all three??

Kean was being linked with Northampton Town, however, they’ve recently signed disgraced former Leciester City goalkeeper Adam Smith so this doesn’t seem a likely move in my honest opinion.

I was resigned to us being lumbered with Best for the final year of his lucrative contract at Ewood Park, however, talks to reach a financial settlement are thought to be underway that may yet see the twenty-eight-year-old go?? I’ll keep my fingers crossed but will believe this when I see it!!

Three fringe squad members being moved on would be useful wouldn’t it.
