John O’Sullivan’s Blackburn career has come to an end with it mutually agreed to end his contract.
O’Sullivan has been with Blackburn since he was 15 and had managed six first team appearances but he wasn’t in the future plans of Owen Coyle – as he hadn’t really been Gary Bowyer and Paul Lambert before this – with all parties agreeing to end his deal so he can move onto pastures new.
A statement on the Official Website read.
‘Rovers can confirm that they have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contract of midfielder John O’Sullivan.’
Concluding.
‘The club would like to thank John for his hard work and dedication during his time at Ewood Park and wishes him every success for his future career.’
During his time at Ewood Park the 23 year old had undertaken loan spells with Accrington, Southport, Barnsley, Rochdale and Bury. The former Republic of Ireland U21 international was most recently on loan with League 2 side Stanley for another spell.
