The next Blackburn match of the season will the Carabao Cup Second Round tie against Lancashire rival Burnley at Ewood Park on Wednesday. We’ll have a Match Preview nearer the time, however, for now it’s over to you!!

Hopefully this is where you tell us your thoughts on this match ahead of us as we want to know your views on areas such as.

(A) The XI Tony Mowbray’s likely to pick??
(B) What your starting XI would be??
(C) What the scoreline will be??
(D) Anything else you have to add to the match discussion for this match!!
(E) A vote in the preview poll.

A derby doesn’t need to be sold to anyone does it?? Less so a Lancashire derby against bitter rivals Burnley.

OK it’ll not be as important to Rovers as promotion from League One would, however, if a victory over our Premier League rivals (who have that advantage hanging over us) can be secured it could act as a huge fillip going forward.

Victory over The Clarets anytime would be taken and I’d expect whatever team Tony Mowbray selects to be up for this (the visitors would almost certainly field some fringe squad players) and bid for a Rovers win at Ewood.

Will we achieve this??
