Ngog now linked in most tedious summer ever

God this is a tedious summer of transfer speculation at our club.

Not only can we not really spend any cash until this takeover business finishes, we are linked with players like Matt Taylor, Guti and David Nugent – players we couldn’t even buy if we wanted to.

The takeover must be finalised before any real money is spent. So papers linking us with multi million £££ strikers are having a laugh and clearly haven’t done any research whatsoever.

But at least today something that verges towards viable has appeared.

Liverpool forward and best friend of Birmingham City David Ngog has been linked with a loan move to Rovers (and West Brom).

David has little chance of getting some regular action at the Scousers next season and Rovers need a striker. It is a loan move so would cost sweet F.A and fits the profile of what we need.

David himself hasn’t ruled a move out on loan as he told Sky Sports quiet bluntly – ‘I wouldn’t rule it out.’

It’s a start.
