The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Blackburn Rovers and Northampton Town this Saturday.
Blackburn Rovers host Northampton Town on Saturday January 27 for the game at Ewood Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.
Referee: Anthony Backhouse
Assistant Refs: Paul Graham and Gary Hilton
Fourth Official: Ross Joyce
Match Day referee Backhouse is new to the Football League this season, having officiated at National League level last campaign.
Backhouse has officiated 24 games in 2017/18, showing 77 yellow cards and seven red cards so far.
He took in 23 games in 2016/17 with a return of 56 yellows.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
