The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Blackburn Rovers and Plymouth Argyle this Tuesday.
Blackburn Rovers host Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday October 17 for the game at Ewood Park and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.
Referee: Eddie Ilderton
Assistant Refs: Anthony Moore and Gary Hilton
Fourth Official: Richard Wild
Match Day referee Ilderton has officiated eleven games in 2017/18, already showing 32 yellow cards and five red cards.
He took in 18 games in 2016/17, with a return of 52 yellow cards and three red cards.
He was most card happy in the game between Notts County and Wycombe Wanderers where he showed four yellows and the two reds.
He took in 32 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 71 yellow cards and four red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Notts County and York City on September 26 with a total of six yellows being shown. He also showed five yellows and one red in the Blackburn v Preston game in April.
Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
