The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Rochdale and Blackburn Rovers this Tuesday in the EFL Trophy.
Blackburn Rovers travel to Rochdale on Tuesday November 7 for the EFL Trophy tie at Spotland Stadium and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.
Referee: Anthony Backhouse
Assistant Refs: Ken Haycock and Alix Pashley
Fourth Official: Michael Salisbury
Match Day referee Backhouse is new to the Football League this season, having officiated at National League level last campaign.
Backhouse has officiated 16 games in 2017/18, showing 49 yellow cards and seven red cards so far.
He took in 23 games in 2016/17 with a return of 56 yellows.
