Norwich City have signed Blackburn left back Martin Olsson for a fee believed to be £2.5m.
Olsson has signed a four year deal at Carrow Road, after spending 7 years at Ewood Park.
The Swedish international was very much a slow burner at Rovers, having signed from Hogaborgs BK back in 2006. After a spell in the youth side he was a hit in the Rovers first team under Sam Allardyce and subsequently under Steve Kean as well.
Bit after Rovers relegation the player was angling for a move away and despite delaying the inevitable by a year Olsson has left Rovers with the fee he commands less than a calendar year ago, mainly due to poor form last season.
His sale should free up some funds for incoming players.
Best of luck to Martin in the future.
