Charlie Mulgrew is no stranger to football at the highest level as the Blackburn captain managed this at Celtic and has played internationally for Scotland of course. However, with all due respect, Scottish Premiership football isn’t the same as the English Premier League us it.

According to TEAMtalk, with claims they said they could ‘reveal’ this week; Mulgrew is wanted by no less than four topflight clubs?

Mulgrew, enjoying a fantastic season for Blackburn, which has seen him score 11 goals, interested Sheffield Wednesday last summer and is now attracting the attentions of Crystal Palace, Southampton, Watford and fierce rivals Burnley.

It wouldn’t be surprising the versatile Mulgrew, 31, who can literally play anywhere along the backline and in midfield, is interesting other clubs but it’ll take some offer to tempt Blackburn into selling – admittedly you would imagine the Scot would find it hard to turn down a chance to play at the highest level.
