No, not the plastic one with wings that has a cowboy mate. We asked a few questions to Vital Manchester City member Buzz Lightyear ahead of this weekends clash.

Last time prior to the match at home to Man City, we asked Jonny Baguette a few questions to shed some light on the City perspective.

This time Buzz Lightyear in the chair this week as the French Breaded one has gone on away to sunnier places.

I caught up with Buzz and asked him a few grilling questions. Here is the interview exclusively for Vital Blackburn.

1. So its’ the end of the season and everyone has a good chance to properly evaluate, how do the City lot feel it has gone on the whole?

I would like to say that they done brilliantly, but the truth is that it was a big disappointment to lose to lower league opposition in the FA and League Cups. In the Premier our home form has seen some really good football but I wish I could say the same about our away performances which has been poor. So I have to say not as good as expected.

2. Is everyone finally warming to ex-Blackburn boss Mark Hughes?

Mark Hughes is like marmite, you either love him or you hate him, for me it is too soon to judge him, I thought he was doing a really good job at Rovers and when he came to City I was over the bluemoon, but there has been a lot of debate whether he is the right man to lead City to the expected heights. Some of the Anti Hughes Brigade are simply that because he played for Manchester United. I have seen too many managers come though the doors at City, but nowadays every Club demands instant success , but if you look at the likes of Arsenal and United when you get a settled manager you get a settled team and that brings success in time, that is what I and suspect so do most of City fans want.

3. Any players from the Blackburn side that you have been particularly impressed with this season?

Ryan Nelsen, a born leader, Stephen Warnock, vastly underated and Morten Gamst Pedersen, all three of these would have no trouble ingetting into City’s first team.

4. Do you feel City will make another move for Roque Santa Cruz this summer? Is it inevitable?

This was a subject of much discussion, the main consensus was that we could do a lot better for a lot less money. Why pay £20m for someone who appears to be injury prone and then when he is fit, simply sits on the bench. Is he a one season wonder or was it the fact that players like Bentley, Dunn and Pedersen did the hard work for him by supplying some great balls into the box for him to finish off. So the answer to this one is no, not at the price we ended up offering, maybe at £7m.

5. How do the City fans feel about having all this money? Does it have its drawbacks?

Initially it was a question of who do we want at the club and names like Kaka, Messi, Henry, Messi, Torres and indeed as you are aware numerous offers for RSC, but it matters not how much money you have, the top players still want to play a team that is relatively successful and in European competitions. I am sure teams look at City when involved in transfers and hike up the price. The building of the team has to be a gradual process and will take time, but take it from me, maybe not immediately but it will happen.

6. What kind of game are you expecting on Saturday?

I watched the Blackburn v Wigan match Sunday and to me Blackburn looked a nervous side, but once they scored that goal, they seemed to relax and started to play some decent football. I think BlRovers now have sufficient points now to avoid the drop. City have come into some sort of form, beating Hamburg, WBA and taking Everton. COMS is a difficult place to come and win, but I expect an open game, Rovers still need points to be sure of safety and may come to get just a point.

7. And finally, lets get the mandatory prediction out of you Mr.Lightyear?

4-0 City win
