Rhodes is a Rover

Rovers have completed the signing of Jordan Rhodes for a total fee of £8m.

It is believed Rovers will be paying £4.5m up front with the rest of the deal staggered and dependent on incentives, Rhodes himself has penned a five year deal and becomes one of Rovers highest earners.

Understandable delight this afternoon at the capture of Rovers main summer transfer target after weeks of posturing, haggling and three failed bids finally paid off.

Global Advisor Shebby Singh was instrumental in the deal and the driving force behind bringing him to Ewood Park.

It’s safe to say the Rovers boss was delighted also.

Steve Kean told the official site – “Jordan is a top class striker and we are absolutely delighted to bring him in. His record is there for all to see and I believe he can play a major role in our drive for promotion back to the Premier League.”
