Roberts set for Reading

Breaking news and it comes in the form of a player heading out.

Jason Roberts is reported to be having a medical at Championship side Reading ahead of sealing a move away from Ewood Park.

Word is that it will be a loan switch with a view to a permanent switch in the summer but no official clarification as yet.

It is no secret that Roberts is surplus to requirements at Blackburn having been told he wouldn’t be played as Rovers couldn’t afford the bonuses payable as match bonuses in the terms of his contract.

A move away has looked likely all January and it seems Roberts will get his wish of regular football with Reading.
