When Ruben Rochina, following loan spells with Real Zaragoza and Rayo Vallecano, to return to Spain with the former Barcelona B forward signing for Granada a big money move wouldn’t have been expected.

Would it? Well if reports in the Lancashire Telegraph are right Rochina is in line to seal a move to Rubin Kazan.

They’ve triggered the 10 million euros release clause in his Granada contract. Should he made that move it would earn Blackburn a £1.25m payout as per the 15% sell on included in the agreement for the former Spanish youth international who played in 54-matches for Blackburn scoring 11-goals following his arrival in January 2011, with him leaving in the summer of 2014.

It was also said he’ll be able to triple his wages by moving to Russia with Rubin Kazan boss Javi Garcia keen on him?

Another former Blackburn player is Hyuga Tanner, who left in the summer with the 19-year-old released.

He could come up against Blackburn this summer as he’s on trial with Nigel Clough’s Burton as the 19-year-old looks to find a new club after his exit from Rovers.
