Blackburn Rovers have allowed Mark Bunn to leave Ewood Park for a loan spell with Leicester City.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper was signed by former manager Paul Ince last summer from Northampton Town but has been restricted to just the one first-team appearance for Rovers to date, this being the FA Cup-tie with Blyth Spartans in January when Sam Allardyce selected him.

Its not yet known quite what sort of future Bunn will have at Ewood under Allardyce, but his immediate future (for the next month at least) will be with the League One leaders.

Meanwhile Rovers legend Matt Jansen has joined Huddersfield Town on trial as he looks to get his career back on track.

The 31-year-old is looking to get back into football after two-years out of it and previously spent some time training with Rovers again, but couldn’t win a deal. Another of Jansen’s former clubs Carlisle United are also interested, but he will now feature in a reserve match for Huddersfield as he looks to earn himself a deal.
