Reports on Skysports.com are seeing Blackburn Rovers’ name crop up in connection with a move for Rafik Djebbour, along with fellow Premier League clubs Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion.

The 24-year-old scored 14 goals for his Greek club Panionios last season with a move to England being heavily mooted. Djebbour also understood to be very interested in playing in the Premier League. The early indication is (from reports in Greece) that Stoke have shown the strongest interest in the French born Algerian International.

Personally I’ve never even heard of him (not that this means he isn’t any good of course as I don’t know everything lol!) but when you see Stoke and West Brom as the other teams understood to be interested you can’t help but think is he really an improvement on the strikers we have?!?! Do we even really need another striker anyway???
