Blackburn are reportedly talking to Polish second division outfit Arka Gydnia over a potential link-up that could benefit both clubs.

Now despite the fact that it is one of the hardest names to pronounce in world football, Rovers could join the ranks of Premiership rivals Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal by establishing formal links with the Polish team, who suffered relegation from the top flight last season.

Arka Gydnia, who play at the 12,000-capacity Stadion Gosir, are keen to establish a relationship with a bigger side after falling on hard times both financially and on the pitch.

But they have established a good network of local scouting and youth coaching which could appeal to Rovers if they are able to hand pick the best recruits whilst also increasing awareness of the club in areas which are often difficult to get at.

Surely got to be a good thing for both sides?
