With all the excitement surrounding the stories of Kalinic, Di Santo and Ellington of late, the appointing of a new first team coach has gone completely under the radar.
Steve Kean, the former Fulham, Real Sociadad and Coventry No.2 joined Sam’s backroom ontingent earlier in the week.
Kean can speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently and Allardyce is hoping to use those skills as he continues to probe the foreign markets for new signings.
Rovers Appoint First Team Coach

Sounds like an experienced appointment. Good news
Loads of applications for this post apparently – and Sam seems to have picked the best one.
Very good coach i have heard by the coventry fans round my area and they dont know why Coleman got rid of him
I dont think it was a case of Coventry letting him go just more of a case he wanted to step up a division.
ahhhhhhhh
Coleman didnt get rid, he wanted to move, as Mikey pointed out. Dont know much about him but he seems highly rated so fingers X’d
Always good to have a cunning linguist on the team, heard good reports about the guy, he’s apparently got a really persuasive persona
Hes gonna need it at Rovers to be fair LOL
