Rovers appoint new board members

Rovers have tonight appointed two new board members to the club board to strengthen what is a pretty weak line up on a day to day club level.

Vineeth Rao and Simon Hunt have been appointed with immediate effect after a few weeks speculation of where the club would be headed.

The move comes off the back of a difficult summer where Rovers have struggled in the transfer market and also in some areas of communication.

The Rovers official website has announced – ‘Joining the Ewood Park board are Vineeth Rao, a close family friend of the club owners, and Simon Hunt, a former professional footballer with experience in management, scouting and sporting director roles at clubs home and abroad.’
