Blackburn Rovers will go into the SkyBet Championship match with Milton Keynes Dons on Saturday afternoon with a clean bill of health, which didn’t seem quite on earlier in the week.

The main concern was Jordan Rhodes with the current Player of the Month in the Championship returning from International duty with Scotland a minor worry with a slight knee injury.

However, Gary Bowyer’s told The Official Blackburn Rovers Website all is fine with Rhodes: “Jordan is fine, he trained this morning and he’s done his extra finishing as he always does.

“He’s had treatment down here and they’ve got rid of the little niggle that he has.

That’s the main thing as all Rhodes are leading to success again with Jordan at the moment with him on a hot streak!!

Corry Evans, Adam Henley and Tom Lawrence all returned from Internationals with Northern Ireland (Evans) and Wales (Henley and Lawrence) fully fit and well, even Lee Williamson’s knee knock with Jamaica is believed to be fine and he could train today.

The Rovers Manager added: “Corry Evans, Adam Henley and Tom Lawrence have all come back fit and well. With Lee Williamson, we fully expect him to train tomorrow, he only got back on Wednesday so we’ve looked after him today.

As far as those coming back from the International’s go that’ll make it a virtual clean bill of health!!

Danny Guthrie and Fode Koita aren’t back but Bowyer also said they’ll not be far off a return next week: “Danny Guthrie has been very sensible and he’s expected to join back up with the group on Monday.

“Fode is on his way back from the hamstring that he did in training just before the Ipswich game. So he is going to be missing this weekend and then it will be a case of monitoring it throughout the week to see how he goes.

Matt Kilgallon and John O’Sullivan are fit and well and in contention to face MK Dons too so the news is basically positive for Rovers as we look to extend the unbeaten run to five matches.
