Blackburn Rovers look to have finally won the long race for highly-rated Brazilian youngster Dionatan Nascimento – beating off a massive level of interest from across Europe.
The MFK Kosice star actually spent two weeks at Ewood during the summer and it was widely reported that he had impressed Sam Allardyce.
But the interest is big in the 18-year-old with rival Premier League clubs such as Man City registering a fancy, as well as sides from Italy, Spain, Germany and Holland, so this could prove to be something of a coup for Rovers.
One problem for Nascimento is that he is not yet eligible to play in England due to work permit regulations, so even if Blackburn did secure his signature, which now seems likely – they would need to loan him back out ala Junior Hoilett.
