Rovers Complete Di Santo Signing

Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Chelsea striker Franco Di Santo on loan until January.

Di Santo has been a target for Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce since the start of the summer period, with the deal seemingly a mere formality for ages – but finally it has been signed sealed and delivered.

Allardyce was always keen but doubt remained whether Di Santo would be allowed to leave by new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

But Di Santo is now on board and is a very welcome addition as a lot of our friends at Vital Chelsea thought that Franco shouldn’t have been allowed to leave at all!

The 20-year-old will stay with Rovers until January at the very least, with the deal likely to be extended if he is not needed by Chelsea come that time.

Well done Sam!!! A great catch and Nikola Kalinic is on his way as his agent has confirmed all we are waiting on is his work permit.
