Chris Brown has this morning completed his move from Doncaster Rovers to Blackburn.

The player, who was voted Doncaster’s player of the season last term during their relegation campaign, has signed a two year deal at Ewood Park and becomes Gary Bowyer’s first summer signing.

“I`m delighted to be here,” Brown told the club’s official website. “As soon as I found out about the interest from Blackburn that`s where I wanted to go. It`s a massive club with genuine ambitions for promotion and that is something that I wanted to be a part of and I can`t wait to get started.

“I know a few of the lads here and they really rate the manager. I came to the training ground and had a look around and the staff made me feel very welcome. We have Premier League facilities here.”

The 29 year old moves to Rovers after activating a relegation release clause in his Doncaster contract.
