Rovers facing mixed injury news

Rovers welcome back Josh King for tomorrow’s visit of Charlton which also signals Michael Appleton’s first game in charge of the club since his switch from Blackpool.

King was missing from last Friday’s 1-1 draw away at Wolves but has recovered early enough from his hamstring strain to be included in the squad for tomorrow’s match.

Other good news comes in the form of Mauro Formica and Fabio Nunes’ return to first team training, which could also see them included in the matchday 18.

But as we are all well aware it is never a full bed of roses at Ewood Park and the home side will be without Adam Henley, Dickson Etuhu, Leon Best, Markus Olsson and David Dunn who are all still on treatment table which used to be occupied full time by Vince Grella.

Now weather, just hold out…
