Blackburn Rovers are understood to have taken two Danish youngsters on trial with the view to bringing them to Ewood Park on a permanent basis.

Bassel Zakaria Jradi and Uffe Bech (who are reported as being two of Denmark’s hottest prospect) are understood to be about to embark on an eight-day trial with Rovers according to the Danish media, with skysports.com the most high profile media outlet in this country to pick up the story. Jradi is a defender on the books of B93 and Bech a midfielder with Lyndy BK, with the pair already capped at Under-16 level for Denmark.

These reports also state that if the teenagers are successful in their apparent trial periods they will be offered the chance to remain with the club to becoming a part of our Academy side as Rovers look to bring them into the first-team over the years ahead?

Meanwhile Matt Derbyshire was on the score sheet again for his loan side Olympiakos on Sunday in their 5-0 win over Iraklis.

Derbyshire came off the bench to score twice as he helped his Greek side remain on course for a League and Cup double (having already helped them into the Greek Cup Semi-Finals) as they are now nine points clear at the top of the table.
